AGA DURDY STUDIO — GLOBAL DIGITAL STUDIO

We sell taste. AI sells speed.

Anyone can generate a clean website in minutes. The edge is taste: real copy, a brand with a point of view, accessibility done properly, and one deliberately unreasonable detail per build.

01Selected work

Five builds, five points of view.

Each one started from the same stack everyone is using. What sets them apart is the brief read closely, the role taken seriously, and a result that earns its keep. Read the brief, the role, and the result.

02Approach

Taste is the bottleneck now not the tech.

The web is filling with clean, competent, identical sites — the average of everything a model has seen. I treat AI as the fastest junior I've ever worked with: brilliant at speed, hopeless at judgement. The judgement is mine. So is the brand, the copy, the accessibility, and the one detail that makes a site impossible to forget.

01

Read the brief like a person

Before a single component, I get clear on who it's for, what it has to do, and where the current site is losing them. The best taste decisions are downstream of understanding the business.

02

Brand, copy, structure — then pixels

Voice and message come first; layout serves them. I write the words, set the tone, and build the information architecture so the design has something true to dress.

03

Build fast, on a sharp stack

Next.js, Framer Motion, and a careful design system let me move at AI speed without shipping the average of everything that already exists. Speed is the floor, not the product.

04

Add one unreasonable detail

Every build gets a single signature move that nobody asked for and everybody remembers — a stretch hero, a pinned menu, a cursor that frames the work. That's the part you can't generate.

How an engagement runs

  1. Week 1

    Discovery, brand, copy

Who it's for, what it must do, the voice it speaks in.

  2. Week 2

    Design + build

Design system, build, motion, accessibility audit.

  3. Delivery

    Launch + 2 revision rounds

Deployed, handed over, and polished with you.

03Services

$10k-grade. Not $10k.

AI speed is why the price isn't $10k. Taste is why it looks like it was. Every engagement includes brand thinking, real copy, accessibility, and the signature detail — those aren't add-ons, they're the point.

Watch judgement happen.

This is the actual pipeline behind every deliverable — shown on this site's own hero copy. The AI draft is real. So is everything we cut.

  1. 01 · Brief

A global studio that sells taste, not speed. Say it without sounding like everyone else.

  2. 02 · AI draft

“We are a professional agency delivering high-quality digital solutions. We use cutting-edge technology to help you grow and achieve your goals.”

  3. 03 · Curation

Cut: “professional”, “high-quality”, “cutting-edge”, “solutions”. Every claim generic, nothing at stake. Keep one idea — speed is table stakes, judgement isn't.

  4. 04 · Shipped

“Anyone can generate a clean website in minutes. The edge is taste: real copy, a brand with a point of view, accessibility done properly, and one deliberately unreasonable detail per build.”

Aga Durdy — founder and designer of the studio

Aga Durdy

Founder · Designer · Developer

Founder-led, start to finish. Every enquiry is answered by the person who designs the work.

One designer-developer, a sharp stack, and a standing rule: nothing ships until it has a point of view. The five live builds above are the portfolio — click through them, view source, flip the switch. That's the interview.

Fair questions

How long does a project take?

Landing pages ship in under two weeks. Full sites: two weeks of focused work — week one is discovery, brand and copy; week two is build and polish. Two revision rounds included.

Why are the prices lower than the work looks?

AI does the fast parts, so you don't pay for hours of boilerplate. You pay for the judgement — the brand, the copy, the accessibility, the one detail nobody else would build.

Do you use AI?

Yes, openly — for speed. Every word, colour and interaction is still chosen by a human with a point of view. That's the whole pitch. Flip the switch in the corner to see the difference judgement makes.
